For his dream project Kutraparambarai, the ultimate choice of Bharathiraja to act in the lead role is none other than Kamal Hassan. Stating that he is the one actor who can go to any extent to mould the role, the ace director says his first choice would be the versatile actor.
‘You can get whatever you want from Kamal. He is ready to anything to make the role a tailor-made one for him. So my choice is Kamal for the lead role in Kutraparambarai, which is all about the lives of people in and around Madurai.’
When given a second choice, Bharathi’s choice is Vikram. Says he, ‘After Kamal, I prefer Vikram. However, there are chances that even I could act in the lead role if both of them refuse to act.’
