The ban on Tamil films by the Kerala Distributors Association to not exhibit them in the Sate for the first two weeks of the release may pose a trouble for Ajith starrer Billa, which is all set to hit theatres on 14 December.
The Kerala Distributors Association had come to the decision following the succesful run of Tamil films in the box office, which had affected the revenue of Malayalam films. However, the ban is not applicable for films of top stars like Superstar Rajinikanth.
Following this, it is expected Billa may face the opposition from the distributors of God’s Own Land. However, it is said the problem would be solved amicably if the Tamilnadu Producers’ Council intervenes in the issue.
