  • No more glamour, says Simbu

Silambarasan, who so far considered sex and glamour as inevitable ingredients for the success of a movie, has said there would not be much importance to such scenes in his forthcoming films.

Speaking at the launch of his new project Silambattam in Chennai yesterday, Simbu said, ‘Silambattam will be treat for my fans, especially for women and children. The film is all about a temple priest, who turns violent for unavoidable reasons.’

The film is directed by ace cinematographer Saravanan. Says he, ‘when I conceived the story, my immediate choice for the lead role is Simbu. Mumbai-based model Sanah Khan is playing his lady love.’ Silambattam is produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers (I) Ltd.
