Vetrimaran, director of Dhanush starrer Polladhavan had sought an unconditional apology from the differently abled, for allegedly showing them in badlight in his debut movie.
In his statement, Vetrimaran said he had no intention of hurting the sentiments of the physically challenged. ‘We wanted to showcase the feelings of a middle class young man, who is the hero of Polladhavan,’ he said.
Stating that he never expected such reaction from the differently abled, Vetrimaran added that he would assume responsibility for the mistake and would avoid such scenes in his forthcoming films.
