Opposition came in the form of devotees to Vadivelu starrer Indiralohathil Na Azhagapan, when the cast and crew was busy shooting the climax scene of the film at a temple in Sri Perumbudur.
Reports say that some of the crew members put the plantain leaves on which they took food in the temple premises itself. Irked by this, devotees headed by a local body chief surrounded the crew and expressed their bitterness.
On hearing the news, Vadivelu and director Thambi Ramaiya rushed to the spot and pacified the agitators. Meanwhile, the team of Singakutti too faced a similar opposition, however in the form of fishermen while shooting in a fishing hamlet.
Later, director A Venkatesh held parleys with them and the shooting continued without hindrance.
