After directing many blockbusters in Malayalam including Kaliyattam, Desadanam, Santham and 4 Students and winning national award for four times, director Jeyaraj is making his entry in Tamil cinema with Sila Nerangalil.
Villain actor Vincent Asokan and Navya Nayar are acting in the lead roles. Stating that Sila Nerangalil was a thriller, Jeyaraj says, ‘when I cam across the story of Sila Nerangalil penned by R Raj, I felt that this will take me to Tamil audience in a right way. Since the hero role needs a different person, I selected Vincent Asokan, who played the villain in films including Pokirri and Aalwar, as the hero.’
Says Navya Nair, who is playing a blind girl in Sila Nerangalil, ‘a visually-challenged character is a real challenge for me. I am very much happy to be a part of the movie since there is enough scope to perform.’
