Happy with the rave reviews she got for her performance in Mirugam, Padmapriya, who donned the role of a tomboyish village girl ready to do anything for her husband, is looking for more such challenging roles.
Fulfilling her desire, Durai, a film which has Arjun in the lead came in her way. Says Padmapriya, ‘I put extra efforts in portraying my character in Mirugam. In my next project Durai, my character is colorful and fun loving. It has enough glamour too’
When asked why she selected to do a glamour role, the actress said, ‘I want to show that I can do glamor too. My Bollywood movie 'Striker' is almost ready. I am paired with Boy’s fame Siddharth in this movie.’
