Vijayalakshmi of Chennai 600028 fame, who is currently acting in Anjathey, got injured in a sugarcane field while she was busy shooting for the film.
When the unit was canning a stunt sequence in which the villain of the movie was chasing Vijayalakshmi in a sugarcane field, the actress got hurt by the sharp leaves of the tall plants.
With blood oozing from her hands, she was immediately given first aid. Following this, the shooting continued without much hindrance. The film has Naren in the lead role while Prasanna playing the baddie for the first time.
