  • A breather for Bollywood babes

It seems that Telugu industry has become a place for actresses, who want to storm back after rocking Kollywood and Bollywood. Two perfect examples for the above statement are Manisha Koirala and Amoga (now Nisha Kothari).

Manisha Koirala is the latest to join the long list of actresses, who had developed a penchant for item numbers. Apparently attracted by high salary and less number of working days, the Bollywood bomshell will appear in an item number in Telugu. Manisha will shake legs for a song sequence in Nagaram, a film which has Srikanth (not the Tamil one) and Jagapati Babu in lead roles.

Close to the heels of Manisha, one more Bollywood dame to test waters in Telugu cinema is Nisha Kothari. Currently acting opposite Balakrishna in Oka Mogadu, it is said offers are continously knocking Nisha’s doors.

According to sources, after analysing all the offers she got, Nisha had apparently agreed to act in a film titled Hari Om, which has debutant Sekhar in the lead role. It is said she expressed her consent to play the heroine, considering the weightage of her role.

It may be recalled that Nisha had acted opposite Madhavan in ‘Jay Jay’ a couple of years back.
