For Mamta Mohandas, getting offers in Telugu industry is ‘tough, tougher and toughest’, so to say. The tall and slim beauty of Sivapadhikaram, who acted opposite Vishal in Tamil has reportedly said she is currently acting in two Telugu films after all hiccups.
Says Mamta, ‘Though I have acted in many Telugu movies, getting offers is not an easy thing here. It’s all due to stiff competition that is prevailing in Tollywood. Recently, Ileana and Anushka bagged two of the projects in which I was about to sign.’
Stating that this has hurt her a lot, Mamta has said she never considered remuneration as a factor to commit movies. ‘For me, the script and my role are the two important things. If they satisfy me, I would immediately express my consent without any hesitation.’
