After winning accolades at Osian Film Festival held in New Delhi a few months ago, it is now time for Paruthi Veeran to receive international honours, for the film has been selected to compete in the ongoing Berlinale Film Festival in Germany.
Though Sharukh starrer Om Shanti Om has been selected for a special screening, Paruthi Veeran was the only Indian movie which would compete with other international films in the respected annual event.
A press release said Paruthi Veeran would be screened thrice in English and twice in German at the film festival which includes an exclusive show for the media. To participate in the event, Ameer, the director of the film has left for Berlin yesterday.
