Many well known faces of Kollywood including Prakshraj, Nandita Das, Lawrence and Genelia had been selected for the coveted Nandi Award of the Andhra Pradesh government

According to the State Film Development Corporation of Andhra, which announced the awards list on Wednesday, Nagarjuna was the best actor for 2006, while the best actress was Nandita Das. Genelia was selected for the Special Jury Award for her performance in Bommarillu.
The Nandi award for the best picture went to 'Bommarillu. Shekhar Kammula has been adjudged the best director. The awards will be presented at a grand function in the last week of March.
