The trailer of Kanthaswamy has not only thrilled Indian tinsel town personalities, but also the government of Mexico.

Thanks to the trailer, Vikram has been roped in to act in a Spanish movie to be co-produced by the Mexican government and Kalaipuli Thanu. The film would be directed by Susi Ganesan.

Said a visibly thrilled Vikram, 'all credit to Thanu and Susi Ganesan. The trailer of Kanthaswamy shot in a stylish manner managed to woo Mexico government and ended up getting us a movie in Spanish language'.

Susi Ganesan said, 'The government in Mexico welcomed us with red carpet when we went there for Kanthaswamy shooting. We were treated as government guests and they provided all support to us in choosing the location for shooting.’
