Tabu, who is making her reentry in south Indian cinema with a Telugu film titled Idi Sangathi has reportedly refused to dub for her.

According to sources, director of the film Chandra Siddhartha has urged the actress to dub on her own. However, Tabu politedly denied for the director’s plea stating that it would not be possible for her as she did not know the nuance of Telugu pronouncation.

Following this, noted VJ Jhansi has dubbed for Tabu. It is said that Jhansi’s voice was a perfect fit to the actress and the director was happy with the final outcome.
