Na Muthukumar, the hotcake among lyricists has been selected to represent Tamilnadu in the SAARC poetry festival for young poets at Orissa. The festival would be held from 22 to 25 February at Bhubaneshwar, Puri and Konark.
Organised by the Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature, the festival presents the young generation poets a platform to build a rapport with the members of the prolific world of poetry. One poet would represent every State. They would get an opportunity to reach global poet-lovers.
According to a communique sent to Muthukumar from the foundation, he was 'one of the promising young poets writing in Tamil', as a result of which he was invited to the event.
