  • Film world mourns Sujatha’s death

The tinsel town was shocked to hear the news that its favourite scriptwriter Sujatha is no more. Director Vasanth and lyricist Na Muthukumar were a few of the early birds, who paid homage to the ‘everyouth’ writer.

Stating that Sujatha was one of the greatest writers of Tamil, Muthukumar said, ‘death is an inevitable thing that plucks some of the favourite roses of our garden. It is an irreparable loss to Tamil speaking people.’

Apart from a dialogue writer, Sujatha inspired the film world a lot with his novels and short stories. And beyond any doubt, many of the famous filmmakers of these days are the fans of his pen.

Sujatha had last worked for Sivaji and had also been named as the scriptwriter for Robot, the forthcoming movie of Rajinikanth- Shankar combination.
