For Adhi, who had worked as a film journalist for more than a decade, his maiden directorial venture Silandhi would be a treat for those who love thrillers. ‘I wanted my film to be trendy and visually appealing. And I hope I have achieved it,’ says he.
He adds: ‘As a journo, I took part in several discussions with many noted directors and watched several films. Thanks to that exposure, Silandhi has come out well. The main plus of the film is its crew.’
Ready to hit the screens soon, Silandhi has Munna, Monica, Chandru and Riyaz Khan in the lead roles. The movie has musical score by Neil Mukherjee, cinematography by Fowzia Fathima and editing by Sathis Kurasowa.
Stating that the entire movie was shot in exotic locales in and around Puducherry, Adhi hopes for the best in Silandhi. ‘It is a thriller with twists and turns, which will be a turning point in my life.’
