It seems that Vellithirai, which is hitting theatres tomorrow would be the last film of Gopika in Tamil, as the actress has reportedly decided to call it a day and to settle down as a homemaker.
According to sources, Gopika’s parents are seriously looking for a groom and are planning to conduct the marriage ceremony this year. Confirming this, Gopika’s mother had reportedly told her daughter is currently acting three films in Malayalam and they had not signed any new films in Tamil.
Meanwhile, a section of the Malayalam media reported that Gopika is getting engaged to one of her relatives, a software engineer in US. However, circles close to the actress denied it citing the reasons that Syrian Christians, the community to which Gopika belongs do not allow marriages between the relatives.
