Making a life out of knife - Dhandayuthapani

Movies potraying heroes as dhadhas are not a new thing in Tamil cinema. Proving this, Dhandayuthapani too throws light on a underworld don and speaks about his feelings, desire, and of course, love.

The only thing which is laudable in this movie is the bold attempt made by debutants, since everyone in Dhandayuthapani, including the producer, director and hero are new faces to Kollywood.

Debutant Suresh Raja is a softspoken young man. However, circumstances make him as a henchman. The remaining story revolves on how the henchman turned young man takes revenge on those lying as reasons behind his downfall.

Heroine Shivani has performed well in a limited scope. Music by Sunil Indirajith is laudable. C N Rajadurai, who is a doctor by profession has emerged as a producer in this movie. Director Saravana Shakthi has made attempts to make the flick a racy one.

Dhandayuthapani - Business as usual.
