Dreaming high - Mudhal Kanave

Vikranth, the cousin brother and a look-alike of Vijay has followed the footsteps of his brother in Mudhal Kanavae, by playing the role of a soft hero living for love, which Vijay was doing a decade ago. In addition, Vikranth has also sung an item number in this movie along with Vijay's mother Shobha Chandrasekar, again the same, which Vijay repeatedly did in all of his earlier films.

Debutant director C Balamurugan has dealt with a matured story where faith and fidelity play an important role. Remembering Andha Ezhu Naatkal in the knot, Mudhal Kanavae emerges as a feel-good film with new face Honey Rose as the heroine.

Hari (Vikranth) and Jennifer are lovers. However, a sequence of events makes Jeniffer to suspect Hari. Meanwhile, Jennifer marries David (Yugendhran) and starts a new life, but with memories of Hari. The rest of the event is all but how Jennifer and Hari get united. Manivannan, playing the role of Vikranth's employer shows his experience in acting.

Janakaraj has made a reentry through the movie. Major highlights of the movie are the dialogues of Balamurugan and the cinematography of M D Vijaya Gopal. Srikanth Deva's music is laudable.

Mudhal Kanave - Fidelity matters.
