Anand, the original version of Ninaithale in Telugu came with the caption ‘Oka manchi coffee lanti cinema’ (a film as fresh as a nice coffee). In Tamil too, producer turned director Viswas Sundar has followed it faithfully and retained the freshness, not just in the screenplay or narration, but in everything including refreshing takes and sensitive crafting.

Though the story had bight prospects to join the list of a usual Tamil film, Sundar’s capability in reproducing the charm and glam takes Ninaithale to heights. For him, the film is an important milestone in his career, one can say.
The movie begins with Rupa’s (Nargis) parents being killed in a mishap which makes her to lead an independent life.

After settling in a job, she finds her colleague Rahul (Sarfras) as a right pair and the duo decides to marry. At the time of wedding, Rahul’s mother plays spoilsport and stops marriage. Anand (Suchin), who comes to the marriage, falls in love with Rupa. At the time when he succeeds in wooing her, there comes a sudden twist where Rupa comes to know that it was Anand’s father to kill her parents due to his carelessness. Did the duo enter into wedlock forms the climax.

After testing waters in Arjun starrer Kannodu Kanbadhellam, Suchin, son of veteran actress Vyjayanthi Mala Bali dons the hero role with all maturity. Both Suchin and Garam Masala fame Nargess share the screen with an inbuilt chemistry. Krishna and Santhoshi (playing friends) and Rahul provide effective support to the film.

Appreciable is the musical score of Vijay Antony. This music director’s performance is reaching new levels film after film and he has a bright future in coming days, if he continues the same tempo. Once again, producer-director Viswas Sundar deserves kudos for presenting a decent love story sand double meaning dialogues and violence.
