Neither here nor there - Rameswaram

Rameswaram, which is expected to be an apt wedding gift for Jeeva has nothing new to offer, as the storyline and narration is not only clichéd, but also outdated. In short, the film is disappointing and a setback for Jeeva after Pori.

Jeevan (Jeeva) is a Sri Lankan refugee who comes from Jaffna to Rameswaram. With the local bigwig (Lal) providing the refugees a place to live, his only daughter Vasanthi (Bhavana) falls in love with Jeevan,

Saravanan (Bose), a relative of Vasanthi is madly in love with her gets posted as the Police Sub- Inspector in Rameswaram. After coming to know about the affair of Vasanthi, he arrests Jeeva under false charges. Did the couple unites or not forms a predictable climax.

Jeeva does it once again in terms of performance. His body language and attempts to speak Lankan Tamil is superb. Bhavana repeats the same of her role of Koodal Nagar. Lal do his role with ease.
