It seems that Vijayakanth is apparently feeling bore to finish off evils in a cop's uniform. Proving this, Captain comes in a doctor's role in Sabari, but is continuing with the same, that is to fight for the truth and rights.
Boosting Vijayakanth's image in the political arena, the movie has been well packed by director Suresh with a bunch of punch dialogues and hefty scenes with politically strong messages. But the fact is that, the film has got nothing new in its content, except the usual stunts, songs and one-man army heroism of Vijayakanth. However, Captain has well understood his role and did his best as the care taker of the society.
Vijayakanth, who is a doctor in the government hospital, happens to come across the rowdy elements, who are disturbing peace in the city. The screenplay goes on how Captain manages to eliminate them with brainy and brawny ways.
Both Jyothirmayi and Malavika have nothing to do more in the movie, like any other heroines of a hero centric flick. Pradeep Rawat, Pithamagan Mahadevan and Aryan tried to do justice to their roles.
Vijayakanth appears in trendy costumes singing romantic duets in foreign locations, backed by the foot-tapping racy music of Mani Sharma. Stunts by Rocky Rajesh dialogues by Pattukottai Prabhakar add fuel to the film.
In short, it is Vijayakanth, all the way.
