Not all Hollywood films draw audience to theatres if dubbed in Tamil. But, Spiderman-3 has those ingredients to woo Tamil audience, as the movie is nothing but the Hollywood version of a spicy Kollywood movie, with all commercial ingredients like love, action, comedy and sentiment.
A smart move of the producer Avi Arad and director Sam Raimi is to bring to light the alien symbiot. It enhances Parker's strength, doing things he pleases as and when his heart flashes the signal. When the spirits are low and staggering, there is the huge influencing factor of Aunt May to help him get back to the winning ways.
Maguire was the first one to see the overflow of funnier elements in the sequel. However hard Avi has tried, Maguire falls way short of the revenge-drenched expression in his handsome face. Like the proverbial links in his earlier essays between Parker and his foes, he banks on the help of two trusted men on the job. You could see the connection in the story, evidently designed to give it a new coating.
Come to think of it, the SpiderMan did not had to do anything out of the ordinary. In the technology-savvy world of spiralling devices, the path to success must have been relatively simple for the one who puts his heart in the sleeve to do one better each time. You expect the expected when Maguire is on the job. Like the World conquering Australian cricket team.
