'Sivaji' songs rule Tamil charts

With no impressive releases in the last couple of weeks, the Tamil audio list remains the same. Though not a great album by A.R. Rahman's standards, "Sivaji" is still a big hit.

The top five Tamil albums are:

1. "Sivaji" - Music Director: A.R. Rahman. The song introducing Rajnikant and sung by S.P. Balasubramaniam, Rehanah Benny and chorus is creating a buzz among the actor's fans. But the pick of the album is "Sahara pookal", a melody rendered beautifully by Vijay Yesudas and Gomathishree.

2. "Unnale Unnale" - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. "June ponna" sung by Krish and Arun is still the favourite. Yet another hit album from Harris Jayaraj.

3. "Mozhi" - Music Director: Vidyasagar. Vidyasagar's best album continues its dream run. You will never get tired of listening to Sujatha and Balram's rendition of "Kaatrin mozhiye".

4. "Chennai 600028" - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film's surprise box office success has helped the album sales.

5. "Naan Avan Illai" - Music Director: Vijay Antony. There is nothing great about the album but the film's success has helped it. The song "Ean enakku" rendered by Jayadev and Sangeeth Rajeswaran is doing quite well.
