Known for his commercial movies, director Sakthi Chidambram is currently busy with the works of Mahamaham, which has another commercial director Sundar C as hero. It is expected that the film would repeat the magic of Thalainagaram and Veerappu for the director turned actor.

Titiled Porukki at the time of the muhurat, the name of the film was later reportedly changed to Adhirudhilla, following the pleas made by the Producers Council to change the title since it is 'derogatory'. However, an official announcement later confirmed that the film has been rechristened as Mahamaham.

The movie has Nadhiya and Vivekh in important roles with new face Ragini donning the heroine role. With the shooting going on in a brisk mode, director Sakthi Chidambaram says, ‘Mahamaham will surely draw festival crowd to theatres.’

Another highlight of the film will be the song sung by Silambarasn. He has rendered a voice for Mahamaham for a fast number. Dhina is scoring music for the film. The film is expected to hit theatres soon.
