Imagine a movie with full-length comedy. Imagine a film with racy screenplay. And again imagine a movie with these two things put together, that too in Tamil. Quite interesting, isn't it?

This is how Solli Adippen is going to be, says its hero Vivek, director S A C Ramki and producer S K Krishnakanth in a single voice. Chaya Singh, who was waiting for a break after Thiruda Thirudi too feels that this movie will surely take her to the masses. After assisting S A Chandrasekar in many movies and designing sets to films like Dhum, Bhagwathi, and Thiruda Thirudi, S A C Ramki makes his maiden attempt as a director through Solli Adippen with apart from penning the story and screenplay. In addition, Teja Shree is also doing an important role.

Speaking at the audio release function of the movie recently, Superstar Rajinikanth said Vivek was not only an actor, but also a multifaceted personality with all talents. Stating that he was admired by some of the qualities of Vivek, Rajini said Vivek was acting with all sincerity and curiosity in his forthcoming movie Sivaji.

In his address, veteran director K Balachandar advised Vivek to continue acting in comedy roles as he has donned the role of a hero in Solli Adippen Praising Vivekh that he was gifted with talent, Balachandar said he saw a spark with the comedian at the time of introducing him to the film industry.

Speaking on the occasion, director Shankar said Sivaji would feature both Rajnikanth and Vivekh in comedy roles, which would be roaring entertainer. He also said plans were on to produce a full-length comedy movie having Vivekh as hero. However, it depends on the script, Shankar said.

In his acceptance address, Vivek said he would never refuse to act as a comedian even as he was doing the hero's role in some movies. 'It was the comedian role which gave me handful of movies year after year,' he said.
The film is produced by S. K. Krishnakanth for his Indian Theater Productions, the banner that produced films like Thiruda thirudi , Puthukotayil Saravanan and Manmadhan.
