Puducherry,Nov 20 : In a sudden development,the Puducherry Administration today tansferred 24 police inspectors.

DGP Khan issued the orders in this regard.

It may be noted that a notorious rowdy from Chidambaram escaped from the clutches of the Orleanpet police two days back. The police could only seize the car in which the rowdy travelled.

Following this incident, Mr Khan convened a meeting of senior police officials, in which the decision to effect the transfer was taken. Mr Bhairavasamy,inspector of Orleanpet was shifted and Mr Bhaskar posted as inspector Orleanpet.
