Tiruchirapalli, Nov 20 : The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 73.150 feet this morning as against its total capacity of 120 feet.

PWD sources said the inflow into the dam was 6,103 cusecs while the discharge was 11,745 cusecs.

From the Grand Anaicut, 1510 cusecs was discharged through River Cauvery,7202, cusecs through Vennar, 3,004 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 1,191 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.

Meanwhile, Tiruchirapalli and is suurbs had experienced moderate showers yesterday, cheers to farmers, particularly paddy-growers, who had raised 'samba' in the delta region.
