June 21, 2012: Tomorrow (June 22) is the birthday of Vijay. So his fans were eagerly expecting that a teaser trailer of their favourite actor's forthcoming film Thupakki would be unveiled on that day.
However, director A R Murugadoss has clarified that no such plans were in the pipeline. 'New releases and Vijay sir's birthday make June 22 big. Thuppakki teaser will come after 10 days. Pls bear with us,' he wrote on his microblogging page.
Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, Thupakki has Vijay, Kajal Agarwal and Jayaram in key roles. Noted cinematographer Santosh Sivan is handling the camera and Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music.
