Here comes a big good news for Ilayaraja fans, who are eagerly waiting for the audio launch of Neethane En Ponvasantham, which has brought together the maestro and Gautham Vasudev Menon for the first time.
According to reports, the song 'Naandhaan Ungappanda...' from the 1981 film 'Ram Lakshman', starring Kamal Haasan and Sripriya in lead roles, reportedly features among the list of 86 songs which are to be played at the opening ceremony of Olympics.
A total number of 86 songs have been selected for Olympics and this Ilayaraja number is one among them, it is said.
The other songs include tracks from the likes of Adele, Sex Pistols, Amy Winehouse and Michael Jackson.
