Asin, the South Indian actress who has made it big in the north, has said heroines should not take the burden of numbers on their head.
'I am not bothered about numbers, I am happy that it happened with my films. It is not that I was expecting it to happen, it is not in my hands. I enjoyed doing my part,' she said in an interview.
'If the film is a hit it is good... if it does Rs 100 crore or whatever, that is a bonus, I don't think that it has to be the main focus,' PTI quoted her as saying.
'I think for male actors may be the numbers put a burden because they are heroes. I don't think that is the case with leading ladies and it should not be, either,' she added.
