In what can be said as a rare happening, STR and Dhanush, who are said to be in a cold war, shared the stage space together at the maiden South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) function in Dubai.
The event that took place in the weekend in Dubai saw the coming together of who is who of South Indian cinema. It was packed with awards and cultural programmmes.
While Dhanush won the Sensation of South Indian Cinema award, Trisha walked away with the Youth Icon of South Indian Cinema.
Silambarasan was awarded the Stylish Star of Southern Cinema prize for actors and Lakshmi Rai took home a similar award for actresses.
Nani and Amala Paul took home the Rising Star of South Indian Cinema award.
