Vikram is playing the role of a fisherman and Jiiva a musician in David, a multilingual film being directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
'The film tells the story of two Davids, one a fisherman, and another a musician. Each of them faces a conflict and how they overcome it forms the rest of the story,' says a source.
The two stories are shot by two different cameramen: Rathnavel has done the fisherman story and Sreejal Shah is shooting the musician story. The flim is produced by Getaway Films and Reliance.
The film has been shot in two different cities. The story is told in a unique double narrative style laced with a lot of music, drama, action and humour.
