 A meeting of the MPs and MLAs of the DMK was held in Chennai on Tuesday ahead of the July 19 Presidential Poll.
Party president M Karunanidhi maintained that the MPs and MLAs were told about the ways to implement the decision to back UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee.
“The party has already decided about its support . MPs and MLAs were briefed about the voting,” Karunanidhi said.
The meeting, chaired by Karunanidhi, was held at the party headquarters 'Anna Arivalayam', in which all its MLAs and MPs attended.
The meeting was convened to explain to the MPs and MLAs the Presidential polling process.
