Hambantota, July 21 (IANS) India defeated Sri Lanka by 21 runs in the first ODI of the five-match series at the Mahinda Rajapakse Stadium here Saturday.
Chasing a target of 315, Sri Lanka managed 293 for nine in 50 overs as Kumar Sangakkara's 133 went in vain.
