 The friendship between Superstar Rajinikanth and 'Ulaga Nayagan' Kamal Haasan dates back to more than three decades. It became visible once again on Thursday, at the audio launch of Kumki in Chennai.
As Kamal released the audio, Rajini said, 'Kamal has done us proud. Imagine a Hollywood producer (Barrie M Osborne), who made The Lord of The Rings, wanting to work with him! Kamal has inspired many and will continue to do so!'
Thanking his fans, the Superstar said, 'I express my gratitude for supporting me through my recuperation. I wanted to see you all in person and convey my regards. I owe it to all of you. It's because of you (the fans) that I'm standing here and talking.'
Kumki marks the acting debut of Sivaji Ganesan's grandson and Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu. The film which has music by D Imman is directed by Prabhu Solomon.
