Ajith in Sri Devi's flick?

Ajith has been reportedly approached to do a cameo in the Tamil version of Sri Devi's comeback film English Vinglish.

'The Hindi version had Amitabh doing a special appearence. For the Tamil version, the makers initially wanted Superstar Rajinikanth to do the cameo. After Rajini said no, their immediate choice was Ajith, the next biggest star of Kollywood,' say sources.

The film, directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by Balki, is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. It may be recalled that Ajith appeared as Suseema in Santosh Sivan's Bollywood flick, Asoka.
