 Debutant director Ranjith's Attakathi has won the laurels of Karthi Sivakumar. At an event organised in Chennai on Friday by Studio Green's E Gnanavel Raja, who is releasing the movie on 15 August, Karthi turned up.
The Paiyaa and Saguni hero said he was able to relive his college days after watching Attakathi. He added: 'Attakathi is an interesting movie. I am sure it will be liked by one and all cutting across all barriers.'
With newcomers Dinesh and Nandhitha playing lead roles, Attakathi is produced by C V Kumar and directed by Ranjith, a former associate of Venkat Prabhu. The film will be distributed by Gnanavelraja, who is a close relative of Karthi.
