MSV to be honoured

'Mellisai Mannar' M S Viswanathan, who is popularly known as MSV, will be honoured by Jaya TV at a grand function to be held in Chennai on August 22.

Tamil film personalities will throng the function and shower praises on him. Also, MSV will be be conferred a title as suggested by the viewers through a poll conducted by the television channel.

A legendary perfectionist, MSV established a prolific career composing film music in the Tamil film industry. As early as 1948, Viswanathan was already working with various music directors.

Viswanathan started his career as music composer with Jenova starring MGR in the lead role. Later he joined hands with Ramamurthy to render some magical songs on screen.
