June 20, 2012: Mahalingam, father of actor-director M Sasikumar, passed away at Thamaraipatti in Madurai. The 69-year-old is survived by three sons and a daughter.
According to sources, Mahalingam played an active role as a pillar of support to Sasikumar's cinema dreams. He showered love and affection on all his children.
Sasikumar's friends and colleagues in the industry have expressed condolence on coming to know that Sasikumar's father breathed his last. |
